Once we arrive, we’ll head out on our RIB boat for a nature safari along the towering sea cliffs. You’ll get a unique, water-level perspective of the puffin colonies and access to hidden coves unreachable on foot. After the excitement on the water, we’ll head into the village for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before driving you back to Seyðisfjörður.

        This adventure is designed for cruise ship passengers in Seyðisfjörður.
        The drive from Seyðisfjörður to the Puffin Captial is about 1.5 hours

        Keep in mind that we usually gather 4-12 passengers into groups. The puffins arrive at the beginning of May and stay until mid-August.
        During this time, they come to Iceland to breed and raise their young.

        What to bring

          Warm clothes are always a good option when traveling in Iceland, however, we'll provide you with ski googles, a warm, windproof and photogenic flotation suite and a dependable life jacket, giving you that adventurous “action figure” look while keeping you safe and comfortable.
